While Valentine’s Day has passed, there’s no reason to not carry on the love for one another and nick some Valentine’s ideas from other cultures and randomly use them throughout the year. From Today is an article about “15 Valentine’s Day Traditions From Around the World to Inspire Your Celebration ”. Though I don’t know if following the German’s example and gifting your loved one pig-shaped gifts is a good idea, the others might spark some ideas for how to share your appreciation for others. And maybe you start your own tradition of joy.

Vivek Hallegere Murthy (born July 10, 1977) is an American physician and a former vice admiral in the United States Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, who served as the 19th and 21st surgeon general of the United States from 2015 to 2017 and again from 2021 to 2025, under Presidents Barack Obama, Donald Trump, and Joe Biden. Murthy is the first surgeon general of Indian descent, and during his first term as surgeon general was the youngest active duty flag officer in federal uniformed service.
