Speaking of falsehoods, there was a time when “When Cigarette Companies Used Doctors to Push Smoking ” (article from History ). On one hand, it’s bonkers to think about doctors recommending smoking now, in 2026. On the other hand, many of us are now glued to our phones doom scrolling the hours away instead of touching grass , so… progress?
